Two Day National Seminar on Indian Philosophy: Contemporary Perspectives is being organized by Centre for Studies in Philosophy, Dibrugarh University.
About the Seminar The Contemporary deliberations in Indian Philosophy are marked by the changes of existential and societal issues. The recent Indian philosophers are deliberating on the issues and problems of life, society and world coming out from the boundary of traditional schools.
It is expected that further exploration and analysis of the contemporary perspectives to Indian Philosophy will help to have a plea for a new history of Philosophy in India and awareness of the need for a fresh look at the philosophical traditions of India so that they may become alive once again and may be pursued with renewed vigour. Keeping this in view, the Centre for Studies in Philosophy of Dibrugarh University proposes to organize a Two-day National Seminar on the topic entitled Indian Philosophy: Contemporary Perspectives by inviting research papers from Teachers and Research Scholars of different Colleges and Institutions of the region. This Seminar is primarily aimed at exploring the philosophy of those contemporary Indian Philosophers who are found to be comparatively less explored.
